NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION

Take notice that the Annual Election of the Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire District No. 1, Township of Haddon, will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, between the hours of 2:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M., at the Westmont Fire Station, 120 Haddon Ave., Westmont, New Jersey, at which time Two Commissioners will be elected for a 3 year terms and the Budget for the year 2018 will be submitted to the voters for their approval.

The Budget, not to exceed ($1,471,282.00) One Million, Four Hundred Seventy one Thousand, Two Hundred Eighty Two Dollars and no cents, shall be raised by taxation for maintenance of said Fire District.

Ballot Question: Shall the Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, in the Township of Haddon County of Camden, New Jersey (“Fire District”) be authorized to (a) undertake a capital improvement program consisting of the acquisition of a new ambulance and new command vehicle for the Fire District, together with such other works or improvements as may be necessary therefore or related thereto; (b) expend for all the forgoing an amount not to exceed $365,000.00.
